First Mennonite Church of Halstead was organized in 1875 under the leadership of Christian Krehbiel and is a member of Mennonite Church USA and the Western District Conference. Currently we have about 100 active members who gather for worship, fellowship, service and outreach.
There are a wide range of ministries at First Mennonite. We encourage our members and attenders to use their gifts to further the kingdom of Christ.
